South Bay Community Services
The 10th annual Change Their Lives Extravaganza for the benefit of victims of domestic violence and their children was a great success, and Vibra Bank is very happy to have been a sponsor. commitment to working with community businesses. As the largest multi-purpose human services agency in San Diego County, NHA is committed to strengthening the local economy, and supports Vibra Bank in its effort to provide financial services to small businesses.
San Diego Regional Airport Authority
Vibra Bank has been selected as a participating financial institution for the San Diego Regional Airport Authority's outreach program to provide contract acquisition assistance as well as financial and bonding assistance to small, local contractors. U.S. - Mexico CPA Conference
More than 100 people attended the California Society of CPAs San Diego Chapter's 14th annual U.S.-Mexico Conference in San Diego September 25th. Vibra Bank was the lead sponsor, and Scott Parker, the bank's president and CEO, gave a presentation to the attendees. The event included a special visit from CalCPA Chair Greg Burke and his counterpart from Mexico, Mario Garcia of Deloitte, President of the Colegio de Contadores Publicos. Eva Contreros, a past president from the Mexican CPA society, was instrumental in getting so many attendees from places such as Ensenada, Tecate and Mexicali.
This event is a great opportunity for CPAs from the United States and Mexico to meet once a year to network and partake in professional education that deals specifically with cross-border issues. This year's attendees were treated to great CPE offerings that were presented by some of the region's best practitioners in their respective fields of expertise.
